So I’m starting a fun, new thing. . .
The farther I get past that magical point known as retirement age, the less inclined I am to do work I don’t want to do. I’m not able, or ready, to actually, you know, retire. But I’m making some changes.
One of them is, I’ve started a writing project that I’ve been wanting to do for years. First I deferred it because, you know, broke-single-mom. Then I deferred it because, you know, newly remarried mom with four kids instead of two. Then 5 kids. . .
Then I deferred because, you know, economic meltdown, no jobs, had to start a business to survive. . . .
And so it went.
Well, I’ve stopped making excuses and I’m deep into the revision process for my first novel.
No, it’s not some mega literary fiction masterpiece, it’s a fun #cozymystery. Because it’s what I love to read and what I’ve always wanted to write.
While I’m working on it, I’m also writing a newsletter. The next issue publishes tomorrow, but you can get it in your inbox if you go to SusannaSullivan.com (that’s my pen name, Susanna Sullivan. Long story.)
Anyway, I’d love it if you’d take a look, and join me in my new-to-me fiction-writing journey.
